Maintenance/PlantingAll flower post have been sealed inside and out to insure a long life and protection from the cold winter months, for many years to come.Once a year before planting, use a cleaning solution of 5 parts water to 1 part bleach when cleaning your pots. Spray on cleaning solution and let sit 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly The bleach will kill all mold spores to stop its growth. We suggest a piece of landscape fabric in the bottom and 2" to 3" of pea gravel on top to allow proper drainage. Then fill with compost or soil of your choice when planting. Be sure to water well to set plants in soil when first planting your pots.
